What changes are happening?

The project involves installing pedestrian/bicyclist improvements at the Columbia Tap Trail crossing at McKinney Street. These improvements include a raised medians, rectangular flashing beacons (RRFB), high-visibility crosswalk, and road signs.

What is the project goal?

The aim is to improve safety by installing RRFBS to warn motorists to stop for trail users crossing the roadway and raised medians to reduce exposure time by allowing users to cross in two stages with a safe waiting area in between.
