Harrisburg Trail Improvements Project
The Harrisburg Redevelopment Authority (Authority), is seeking qualifications from firms for professional services to complete design and related services for the Harrisburg Trail Improvements Project.
The project will improve 24 crossings along the Harrisburg Hike and Bike Trail from Drennan Street to Marsden/Garrow Street and on Adams Street from Harrisburg Trail to Harrisburg Boulevard in the Second Ward neighborhood in Houston, Texas. The project will include the installation of detectable warning surfaces, bollards, high-visibility crosswalks, signage, and pavement markings, pavement repair at deteriorated crosswalks, emergency call boxes, wayfinding, and improved lighting along the trail and at crossings to improve safety and mobility along the trail.
Qualifications will be received until 2:00 PM CDT, Friday April 17, 2026, through CivCast at https://www.civcastusa.com/project/69b8155423bb695afe6277b8/summary. All procurement information will be available through CivCast. This design project is federally funded through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
