Harrisburg RDA hired Gauge Engineering to propose design alternatives to improve safety at the intersection of McKinney Street and the Columbia Tap Trail. To enhance pedestrian safety, a median was installed along with striping, signs, and rectangular rapid flashing beacons. Construction was completed at the end of April 2026.
